Question about NYC...? -

When you taking a taxi does it matter how you say, the cross streets, like 44th and 6th ave or 6th ave and 44th ? thanks.

It s customary to say the street first and then the avenue, like 42nd and 3rd. BUT if the avenue name is not a number, like Lexington, then it s customary to say the avenue name before the street name. Take, for example, Lexington and 42nd. Hope that helps!

well, the vernacular is cross street, then avenue. 57th 3rd, 34th lexington. the only real issue are the low numbered streets downtown.

does not matterEX.If I were too say Crosstreets Pandora St and 67th Ave or 67th Ave and Pandora St does not matter.Think of it as multipcation 4*5 is 20 5*4 is 20does not matter

Either way will do.Good luck

It doesn t matter at all. Just let him understand u. Good luck!
