I work in the Las Vegas Nightclub industry. When my clubs catch a fake ID or a person using an ID that is not theirs we will confiscate it and often escort the guest out of the casino. The person can pick it up the next day if they can prove its them. We will involve the police if it appears something illegal is going on, or if we need to verify information.Chris
They don t have to prove that it s not your ID - if they even suspect that it s not you, they don t have to let you enter, whether you have another ID (credit card) in that name or not. And they are also allowed to confiscate the ID and credit card if they believe it to be fake. You could be criminally charged if they decide to call the police, which doesn t happen often. They likely will just turn you away.Underage drinking is a big deal in Vegas - if caught, casinos can lose their liquor licences. That is a chance they cannot afford to take, so they are very vigilant about checking ID s carefully.
Well, obviously the answer is no - you can t use your brother s ID in Vegas or anywhere else. And be very careful about challenging anyone who questions your ID.No business is obligated to prove anything to exercise their right to deny you service. Any business can simply say I don t think this is you, I m not serving you, get out. If you are lucky they will just give you back the ID and let you leave. If you try to argue it, they can (and will) hold the ID and call the police to resolve the matter.
Having a credit card with his name on it definitely helps. You CAN get legally punished if they actually catch you, but it s doubtful they will call the cops, they probably just won t let you in. I used to do the same thing with my sister, she s younger, but we look similar, and we never had any problems. Good luck, whatever you choose to do!
As long as the bouncers aren t undercover cops (they generally don t do that in Vegas though) you ll be fine. NEVER give it to a cop once you re in, say the bouncer just let you in or you snuck in. But, the worst they ll do is take it away from you and maybe give you a hard time (if that). For the most part they don t care, Vegas baby...
They do not have to prove it. They can reject anyone they want as a private business! And if they feel it is bogus, they will confiscate both the ID and credit card.Do you realize the extreme expensive of the clubs in Vegas? Gambling is on the house s side for odds, no they don t have to cheat. Wait the year and then you don t have to worry
The big boys in Las Vegas arent like your avg bar bouncers in a local club. They arent about to lose their liquor and gambling license over an under age person.I would not mess with them myself. Las Vegas is a very heavy atmosphere, if youve not been there inside a casino.Founded by the Mafia years ago.. so its security is pretty intense. If you try it, keep in mind they have many cameras watching every single move that people make.
you can try. the worst thing that will happen is that they ll take the ID away from you. they dont want to get the cops involved because it s a pain in the butt for everyone involved and doesn t go anywhere
