Will i get into clubs in vegas for 2010 new years? -

going to vegas to ring in 2010. i have 3 guys and 3 girls in my group. I m trying to get a VIP service but i believe its way too much because of new years. and a table cost way too much too. if i buy general admission tickets will i guarantee admission? also im hearing people waiting hrs in line to get in the clubs. if we get to the clubs around 9-930pm will we still be waiting in line for hrs? also i heard of people paying the bouncers at the line........like go to the front and shake their hand with some $$$ and ask is there any way we can get our group in? right now there selling tickets for pure $100 and LAX $150 per ticket...i just want to get our group in a nice club with good music and not have to wait in line forever. thanks!

NYE is not like a regular night at the clubs, the doorman have much less discretion and you essentially have to buy a ticket if you want to get in before midnight.The usual scene at the door is not there - they just let everyone who has a ticket in, so the line moves fast and you don t have to get on any guestlist or pay someone off to get in.It s actually less crazy than other times - most clubs are busier on long weekends in the summer than they are on NYE.

Groups have less chance to get in, esp guys. The lines are long and greasing palms is not uncommon but no guarantee to get in. The best action will be at midnight with the fireworks from the top of hotels, a street closed and crowded like NY Time Square
