It was right at the corner of Cabrillo and La Playa. Opposite side of the street from the Safeway parking lot. Basically the garden area between the cul-de-sac and La Playa. The Safeway lot had some smaller carnival type amusement rides.
It was facing the Great Highway, so it was about where La Playa apartments is. I remember going there when I was in high school and the Laughing Lady funhouse. A few years ago, the artifacts from Playland were in a museum down the stairs from the Cliff House restaurant but am not in S.F. so I don t know if those places exist.
you better watch out asking for a Fun House in SF..... you might find something you were not at all looking for!
