Has anyone ever heard of the Austin Riggs center in Stockbridge Massachusetts? -

No one seems to know that this place exists and I ve only found one review in the entire world of the internet. I m curious because I have a loved one who has become far too much to bear at home. He is very dear to me but keeping him in one piece is far too much for me to handle. I wanted to know if this place is truly any good.http://www.austenriggs.org/I also wanted to know if they d accept someone who requires a bit more monitoring. He suffers from severe panic attacks and can be extremely self-destructive at times, if he s not watched closely enough.

I am a patient here at this place. Let me tell you something... it works for some and it doesn t work for many. I am in the 2nd category. I feel trapped here as I watch people s spirits disintegrate before my eyes. If you truly care about your loved one... do some more research and find a different place for them to go. This place may very well kill them.

Yes.Best way to find out about admission guidelines would be to call the facility. Or ask your family member s psychiatrist. The psychiatrist won t be able to discuss any specifics about the patient, but should know or be able to find out about admission to AR.
