Is there a summer camp near Eugene or Portland Oregon that teens can work at during the summer? -

Canyonview camp in Silverton has a big program for teens called Teens In Ministry. Hundreds of teens work there every year, and not just in the summer. They also have regular weekend camps. Kids can be involved in the horsemanship end or the daycamp end (for younger children).More info at canyonviewcamp.org.

Surprisingly, none show up in the Eugene area, nor near Salem. However, at least a dozen are around Portland. I heard the Oregon Zoo is offering something for the teens but not sure if it is volunteer or payed work. You should contact them, that would just be a way to cool job.
