* What is the Fastest but safest Route from Chicago, Illinois to Seattle, Washington...? -

- I drive a V8 rear wheel drive sports car with low-profile tires that have the worst snow traction known to man. - Im actually in Rockford Il. which is really close to Chicago and actually going to Everett, Wa. which is really close to Seattle. - I m just trying to get a route that gets me there in about 4 days but allows my car to stay on the road... any help or ideas will be greatly appericaited.

I would suggest just getting on I-90 and going West. That highway goes all the way to Seattle, in more or less a straight line. The interstate will be plowed better than the minor roads, and if you wanted to go farther South to avoid snow, you d add way, way too much distance to your trip.Or you could just fly...much faster, and cheaper overall if you include the cost of wear and tear on your vehicle and if you re going alone.

Check google maps and use their direction finder.

I-90 is a straight shot.
