Department store sales are nation wide because they have them on their website.The sales are on New Years Day, Presidents Day,Easter Sale, Memorial Day, Colombus Day, 4th of July, Black Friday, and Day after Christmas. Stores do have semi- anual sales in the summer. Some stores have a Spring Break sale in March.
In addition to regularly scheduled annual sales, stores do put various things on sale other times during the year. Otherwise you wouldn t see ads in the newspaper on a weekly basis. Check the ads in March. You may be able to get some great birthday presents.
