Try Seaside, OR. That time of year you can get a really nice room for winter rates, pretty inexpensive and right on the ocean. Seaside has all kinds of fun things for families! I take my kids there all the time. Theres something for everyone and you dont have to drive all over creation, you can do it all on foot! They have an aquarium there, you can beach comb after the tide goes out and collect shells etc.. rent cool electric carts and family bikes. If you look online you can even find websites to watch the beach from cameras that you control :) It will be chilly that time of year but still beautiful and memorable! You might consider a drive over to Portland (1hr 25min drive) to visit the OMSI museum, its an AMAZING hands-on science museum!! Very cool

Family Spring Break Vacation Ideas.? -
I am taking my family on vacation in March for Spring Break. Last year we did San Diego, LEgo land, museums, disneyland...it was amazing!!! Trying to come up with an affordable vacation this year that will be just as exciting for the whole family. We thought about Disney World but have decide to wait until my youngest is 3 so that he can really get a true experience. WE have thought about going somewhere with snow to maybe so some winter activities. We are form Houston, TX so we don t get a lot of cold weather. I am not sure how suitable a snow vacation would be for young kids. My children are 7, 3 and my youngest will be 22 months when we go. They are all very game when it comes to trying new things so the fear factor won t be an issue, I am just not sure about ages and minimum requirements. We are taking my mom along as well to help with the youngest so I really don t need a lot of babysitting options. I just want to find something appropriate for everyone. Any suggestions would be great even if they aren t based on a snow vacation...I am at the brainstorming point and can t seem to come up with much.
