Roaming is only for calls you make from outside your home area. If your home area is Hawaii, then there is no roaming but there is long distance.
I am not sure on your plan but roaming is not the same as long distance... roaming is when you leave your area and try to use your phone... not when you call an area outside your area... understand? lol
