When was the New York smoking ban initiated? -

Hello my lovely people. Could you please tell me:a) When was the smoking ban law initiated in New York City,b)What did it initially include? (ie workplaces etc)c)And when was it amended to forbid smoking in any public space (If I m not mistaken)In short, I m looking for all the information I can get regarding the NY smoking ban law and its history :)Much obliged.

I think it was in 2003 when you couldn t smoke anymore in a bar.
