What is a hotel that is close to the power and light district in Kansas City, MO? -

We are driving to KC for a friends bday from Omaha, NE. We know the power and light district is the party area or atleast the area that has alot of bars. So we want to find a place close by that we might be able to walk to and from. I found one but I am not sure if it is that close or not. Is Downtown Kansas City and Crown Center Hotel a good hotel?

The Hyatt is the hotel near Crown Center. It s pretty nice, and not far by cab from the Power and Light District. Maybe 5 minutes or so. There are several other hotels that are even closer than Crown Center, within walking distance to the bars in the Power and Light District. You could check out the Hotel Phillips, Marriott Muehlebach, the Hilton President, and some others. If I were you I d just look on priceline for downtown hotels...that way you could just walk to and from the bars.
