Do travelers to Florida spend more than $50 billion or less than $50 billion annually? -
According to this website, there were over 80 million visitors in Florida in 2008. If each one of them spent around $625 while visiting Florida, that would equal 50 billion. With the pricey hotels, Disney/Universal/Busch Gardens/Sea World theme parks, Kennedy Space Center, Miami Beach/Ft. Lauderdale beaches, and the ever busy Florida Keys...all expensive places to visit, I would say it s over 50 billion, If you included the several million people that come to Florida every year to stay only during the warm winter in their second homes or condos, it s WAY over 50 billion.
