Well there s a ton of cities like that in Michigan. Many small lakes are in the upper area of the lower peninsula, and are the most adorable towns, especially in the summer! Also there s the Great Lakes but the smaller ones are better for boating! The weather in the summer is great, but the downsides are that 1.) Winter is COLD! (But way different than WA) 2.) There s not a ton of jobsSome great towns are Harbor Springs, Traverse City (larger city, but not really that big), and a hundred more. Torch Lake is a great inland lake, as is Crystal Lake. By the way, I think Lake Michigan is the best of the great lakes if you re considering one of those! haAlso, don t forget Mackinaw Island, talk about quaint! No cars allowed! ha

Quaint cities in the USA? -
As long as I can remember I have lived in a little town (the same little town that is). Gig Harbor, Washington. It has a population density of 1485.2 people per square mile and a nice Maritime theme. I have always loved the small town feel, but HATED the Washington weather. Boating would be great in this area if it didn t always rain.So to get away from the glooming overcast, I would like to move away from my nice little town of GH. Are there any nice little quaint cities in the USA that are on the water that sound like what I have described? Feel free to research Gig Harbor.
