The most productive thing to do as far as not waiting in lines as much is to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours for Resort guests. Stay late after the crowds of day parking lots guests are gone. Get there early before the crowds, and see the hot popular rides without waiting. Get a fast-pass for one and the go on two others on short-lines. Before the day-parkers arrive you ll be going onto #4 while the top 3 are building their first line-crowds, you can see top attraction #4-6 before noon. Are you lucky enough to have dinner reservations at a Park on it s Extra Magic Hours day? If not, it may be worth it to upgrade to a Park-hopper pass. Do you have 5 full days of fun or are Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 travel days? Is that a special event Star Wars? Weekends activity at Disney s Hollywood Studios? Don t tell the kid about that and he won t know.
I d suggest the unofficial guide to WDW or WDW with Kids , both of which should be available in your library. But you don t really have much time to read through them - they re jam-packed with ideas, touring plans, etc. Since you re going over Thanksgiving, you re going to want to do everything you can to plan ahead, as it s going to be mobbed. Make a plan of what you absolutely MUST see/do and stick with that, because there will be long lines/waits for everything, so you won t be able to do as much as at other times of the year. Have fun!
The first thing is that four days is not enough time, i think that after one day in one park you need another day to rest. If your child is under six rent a stroller, also rent a locker. theres a special Star Wars event but ive heard its on summer. take a notebook for characters autograph.if you have a car then you can to go to the malls or some outlet or any special store like dollhouses, remote control airplanes or cars, comic stores etc,It depends about where you come from or what you like.
There is something called, The Jedi Training Academy. It s year round. What the other person is referring to is the Star Wars Weekends in June...http://allears.net/tp/mgm/jedi_mgm.htmhttp://allears.net/acc/faq_as.htmAre you in the military? For future trips, did you realize that the military has a resort in Walt Disney World that is exclusive to people in the military?http://allears.net/acc/faq_sog.htmAlso, Walt Disney World is giving out free 5 days park hopper passes for anyone in the military.http://bookwdw.reservations.disney.go.co
definatly check out the osbourne family light show in hollywood studios went there three years in a row and loved it everytime it starts before thanksgiving and ends after christmas the whole few streets are covered in lights moving to the music with fake snow and hot chocolate!!! its absolutely amazing!!! Im going in december and im in the abc taped parade and im totally stopping by!!!
Check out tripadvisor.com a free site, the Orlando forum for hints from real people who have been there, done that.I agree with the other post, four days, four parks, you will not begin to see it all. Not to mention the two water parks or Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. Gatorland zoo is nice. Medieval Times is fun. So much to do, so little time.
