There are free events going on here all the time, like author readings, museum events, etc. - Pick a new neighborhood you haven t been to and go exploring. - The Staten Island Ferry is free and it s a pretty ride.I m sure you can find plenty of other free or cheap things if you look around a little. It s an expensive city but there are so many things going on that if you look around a bit you can find something inexpensive.
