How much do college students spend on rent in Portland, Oregon for a 1 bedroom apt? -

I m applying to grad school at Portland State. I would like to live in the Southwest (preferably) or Northwest districts. How much on average is rent in these areas? So far it s looking pretty steep, from $800s to $1300s, for a 1 bedroom apt.

I have an idea that may help you. I live in Oregon City Oregon, I am going to Clackamas Community College at the moment but after the winter semester my wife and I are moving to Nevada, we have a 3 bedroom mobile home that is in a nice quiet park that we are selling. (Very reasonably), the lot rent is $455 per month and is in a good area, not far from lots to do, on a bus route (SCTC) which connects to Tri-Met, you could easily rent the 2 extra bedrooms out to pay for the rent and part of the utilities.
