Umm.. yeah. Why else do you see many Californians moving to North Carolina? Even my aunt and uncle moved to North Carolina from California (well technically Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and then back to North Carolina. Lol!)The last time I was in North Carolina, I saw small cottages that are literally a few blocks away from the beach (in nice condition) in Carolina Beach, NC for $275,000. The part of California where I live (Central Coast), that same house would be $800,000 (and it s most likely a fixer upper!)California is pretty much more expensive than any state in the US (excluding Hawaii.)
What an understatement!I live 85 miles northwest of downtown LA, and I pay $1200 for a two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath. The same house in a decent area of LA would easily run twice that, not including utilities. Of course, if you move close to the beach, try THREE to FOUR times that amount. Those amounts are just for rent.Car insurance is super-high and far more expensive than in the Carolinas. This is only scratching the surface.
Umm absolutely... especially in Los Angeles... once you take into consideration the cost of all the gas... car payments... parking meters EVERYWHERE... beach houses don t dip under a couple million... houses in general cost more... taxes... just basically everything costs more... do your research... search houses in Southern AND Central California (San Francisco)... I am sure Northern California is cheaper but it s way boring but very beautiful!... But California is one of the most expensive states to live in...
Yes it is one of the most expensive states to live in...Carolina cost much less. Houses, food everything is less expensive in North Carolina
Very expensive.
yes it is. the cost of living is much higher here. it s higher than most states.
The streets are paved with gold ... It s just the shovel cost 25 million dollars.
yes, most likely. especially in LA
Are you serious??? CA is one of the most expensive states to live in!!
YES....Mexicans do it BUT they they 12 to a room
