Would I like NYC if I moved there? -

Is it worth moving there... I live in Southern California and would like to move to NYC for a bit (I would move back to SoCal eventually) but I would love to experience something different... I want to move somewhere else but I want a ton to do in a small space... is it worth living in? I would of course get all my financial ducks in a row before even moving there... I ve done my research... just want other s opinions...

Many Californians find NYC edgy. If you are a delicate flower of the mountain, please do not come, you will run away because the city is far more abrasive than what you are used to. On the other hand, the culture and intellectual environment may be superior to what you are used to.If you come, try to take in lectures at the New School for Social Research. depends where in nyc you live..but i think you would like it.. because it ll be a good experience.the diversity, so much to do and see, if you can always go back to SC then why not.

Its very nice here other than the weather. Before u come to live here, visit, and then go back to SC to decide.
