The choir at my school is going to Disney World next week and singing in the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Were going to be there for 4 days. there are about 108 singers and 11 chaperones, not including the conductor and dance coreographer (sp?) There will be 3 busses full. here s our schedule: DAY 1:4:15am- arrive at school packed and ready to go5am- load the busses5:30am- leave the school9:30am- arrive at Disney World10am- go backstage to pick up tickets11am- spend the day at Epcot5:30pm- go back stage6:45pm- Candlelight Processional8pm- load busses 8:30pm- leave Epcot/go to hotel9pm- check into hotel/go to rooms11pm- lights outDAY 2:8am- wake up9am- breakfast10am- Magic Kingdom9pm- load busses9:30pm- go back to hotel11pm- lights outDAY 3: 8am- wake up9am- breakfast10am- Hollywood Studios9pm- load busses9:30pm- go back to hotel11pm- lights outDay 4: 8am- wake up9am- breakfast10am- check out of hotel/pack up busses11:30am- Downtown Disney/ Disney Quest5pm- dinner at Planet Hollywood6:30pm- load busses7pm- leave Disney11pm- arrive at schoolI have a couple of questions! 1) how much money should I take for lunches, snacks, and sovuiners for DW for 4 days? We already paid for the park tickets, Disney Quest tickets, and bus tickets. 2) what should I bring for the 4-hour bus ride? 3) what are the must-see rides/shows?4) how much do fast passes cost? and how do you use them? 5) I ve only been to Disney World once, when I was 6. so I don t remember it that well. Any tips I should keep in mind while walking around the park with my friends? I m really excited! thanks for any help and questions answered! =)

I don t think that posting your whole itinerary on here was really important... but whatever! It depends how much are you willing to spend per day? How much do you eat? What souvenirs do you want to go home with? Think about how much you would be willing to spend a day and stick to that budget! Money starts to add up at Disney World if your not careful! The minimum you should take is $100/day! Souvenirs start at around $20 and food (full meals) are at least $10 with tax. A bottle of water usually cost around $3 and a t-shirt will be around $15-30. $10- food$15- lunch$20-25- dinner$25-30- snacks$25-45- souvenirs2. iPod, magazine/book, puzzle book, handheld video game, etc you could also talk to some friends and other people on the bus who will probably be just as bored as you will. 3. Epcot:- Soarin. Go on this ride first or get a fast pass in the morning. This is the most popular ride here and the line can get up to an hour and a half wait an hour after the park opens!- Test Track- Mission: Space! - Spaceship Earth- turtle talk with crush- Innoventions. Its a building full of games and interactive activities. Spend an hour or two in here, you wont regret it! - walking around the countries. *Mexico and Norway both have rides*- the fireworks show is great too, but you guys are leaving before thatMagic Kingdom: - getting glitter in your hair at the barber shop near the entrance (its free!) - Space Mountain- Splash Mountain- Thunder Mountain railroad- Haunted Mansion- Pirates of the Caribbean- Buzz Lightyear- Mickeys Philharmagic (awesome show if you love music, which I believe you do!) - pooh bear ride- peter pans flight- its a small world (its a classic) - astroblaster- mad tea party- tomorrowland speedway- tomorrowland transit authority- firework show- light paradeHollywood Studios: - Tower of Terror- Rock n Roller Coaster- Toy Story Mania (lines can reach up to 90 minutes an hour after the park opens, so get fast passes or go there first thing in the morning)- Star Tours- Great Movie Ride- Muppets 3D- American Idol experience- hey! Maybe some of you guys can try out and perform? =) - Indiana Jones stunt spectacular show- Lights motors action show- Fantasmic laser show at night4. fastpasses are completely free! Once you get to an attraction, you hae the choice to wait in the line or get a fastpass. The fastpass machines are near the entrance of the ride. You just put your ticket into it, and you get a fastpass (and your ticket) back. Whatever time is printed on the fastpass ticket is the time you can go back to that ride and get front of the line privilege to that particular ride. But you cannot get another fastpass until the time printed on your previous one has past. 5. - wear comfortable walking shoes, not flip flops. Its terrible on your feet! - at MK or Epcot, go on the monorail sometime during your day. Ask a Cast Member to ride up in the front. Its a really cool free perk! - its been really rainy lately. It may or may not rain next week, but bring you own poncho with you. Disney chares $7 for theirs. Also, it will prolly be a bit cooler, so wear jeans and a jacket you can always take the jacket off if you get too hot!- have fun! and appreciate the fact that you get to sing in the candlelight processional. not many people get to do that and you will perform for many people who love that show and even payed money to see! its fun! - eat a meal and drink lots of water before you sing! and dont lock your knees! When my choir sang there last year, 5 of my classmates passed out, and I think 2 from other schools did as well! they provide a small meal (sandwich, chips, and drink) but thats not enough. so make sure you stomach is full before you go back stage!

I haven t been to Disney for about 5 years. I know Fastpasses are free. We never used them. The lines weren t long at all when we went in October. Fastpasses are just a skip to the front of the line pass. You get a pass that tells you what time to come back to the ride. You get to skip to the front at that time. Sometimes it s good so you don t have to wait in line for an hour for a 3 minute ride. If the lines aren t long to begin with then it s really not worth it. I went for week and I took about $500 for food and souvenirs. I did come back with some money. I really didn t eat that much. I was too busy to eat. But the food is expensive. Just have fun and don t worry about what you miss. I didn t have a plan at all. Sure I did miss some things, But I still had fun.

Oh the things you should know!1) prepare to spend ten to fifteen dollars per meal (just for fast food, sit down dinners cost way more) and about 5-10 dollars for snacks. About 50 dollars is reasonable for souvenirs2) and I-pod is a MUST HAVE for a bus ride, and magazines, they are fun to discuss with friends and I feel i get less car sick with them instead of books. Oh and paper and pens for stupid games to play with friends (maybe cards, but those are hard to play with on buses)3) My MUST RIDES-in the magic kingdom-Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain-Haunted Mansion-Tiki Room-Pirates of the Carribean-peter pans flight-astro orbiter (do it when it gets dark, best view of the whole park!)-buzz lightyears space ranger spinin Hollywood Studios-Tower of Terror (best ride ever!)-Rock in Rollercoaster-Great movie ride-Muppet vision 3-d (best show ever!)-Osborne family lights (only at christmas)-Fantasmic (great show)-toy story mania-voyage of the little mermaidin Epcot-test track-maelstrom-spaceship earth-mission space-Soarin (make sure you re in the top row)-honey i shrunk the audience4) Fastpasses are FREE! yay! you just go to a ride and look for the fastpass distribution signyou put in your park ticket and out comes a fast pass which gives you a time to come back and get in the fast line (it s like someone saving a place for you in line)I would recommend getting the most popular rides fastpasses way early in the day, because Soarin , Tower of Terror, Rock n Rollercoaster, Toy Story mania and Space Mountain sell out of fastpasses by 2 o clock5)It will be crowded when your going, so make sure to stick together and have a meeting place if you get split up, it doesn t sound like it will happen, but it does. And have fun, I can t tell you much else to do!hope this helped :)
