plattsburgh is super small, for shopping target and tj maxx (which is like winners) are good, theres a mall called the champlain centre mall, and as for hotels probably hampton inn and days inn would be the most appealing.burlington vt though has more shopping choices, such as the church street marketplace and university mall, it is just more appealing than plattsburgh and they have free parking on some select weekends for the holidays, as for hotels theres comfort inn, sheraton, holiday inn and some more, its two hours from montreal though.although for even more shopping head down to albany, its three-four hours from the canadian border, but they have more choices such as outlets on exit 20 of the 87 and larger malls such as the crossgates mall, plus theres saratoga, lake george and albany itself.try trip advisor for hotel reviews.
I always use TripAdvisor.com when I need to find a hotel in a location I m not familiar with - they ve never steered me wrong yet! The comments from past guests are great in helping you decide.Plattsburgh isn t that big, though, so there probably aren t a lot of choices. And if there s anything going on at the nearby colleges, it may be hard to get a room [e.g. basketball tournaments, etc.].
