all i can say is i ve lived here 2 years and i don t like it as much as i thought. stay north of Atlanta is the best advice i can give you.
You can check online and see what apartments have Coca-Cola as a preferred employer b/c sometimes you can get cheaper rent or waived app fees that way. If you re looking for something safe, affordable, try dunwoody, sandy springs, roswell(about 20mins away frm Coca-Cola)...but if u don t have a car, then catching that MARTA may be a bit time-consuming. You DO NOT want to move downtown near the job; apts condos may look nice, but what they don t tell you is that there are homeless ppl living around and in those areas, there s even graffiti on most of those expensive buildings downtown. Centennial Park apts are brand new, just built not too long ago, avg price range and still near downtown. I m thinking about moving there b/c I need something close to the city w/o breaking my wallet, you should check them out on FORRENT.COM.
I agree with the the answer so suductive wrote. Dunwoody and Sandy Springs are good places to live and if you ever need public transportation the train will take you there. I would recommend staying in fulton or dekalb county if you re depending on public transportation.
I think coca cola is in downtown but thats not the right place to live.U can either live in Henry county which is further South or in Dekalb or Gwinnett county which are 15 to 20 mins North Atlanta.Atlanta is a good place ,i ve lived there for 5 years.Good luck my friend!!!!
