Looking for something to do in New York City? -

So I m a freshman in college going to school in Manhattan and am planning on bringing three girls from home up for the first weekend in December. I m looking for ideas for something to do that Saturday night. Also none of us are 21+ and we re all working on a college students budget so inexpensive would be good.

May I recommend the following.-Empire State Building-Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island-Times Square (no trip is complete without a visit to the Crossroads of the World )-United Nations-Central Park-Brooklyn Bridge (you can walk across it too)-Grand Central Terminal (largest railroad terminal in the world)-A Ride on the Staten Island Ferry (its free and you can see the Statue of Liberty as the ferry crosses the harbor)-The Pond at Bryant Park, which is free. However, the price to rent a pair of skates will cost you $12 a person.Good luck

Native New Yorker gives excellent suggestions! We maintain a New York Events Calendar on our site with listings for events like concerts, theater, fairs and festivals, etc.Have fun!
