How should I organize my Chicago Christmas visit? -

I m flying out to Chicago to spend time with a friend who lives in the city, pretty close to O Hare, and with family relatives who live in the suburbs, not far from Midway. The way the tickets worked out I ll be landing in O Hare on Tuesday night and leaving from Midway on Sunday morning.The question is, when to go where? Starting with the friend and ending at my aunt s is a no-brainer transportation-wise... but a fun schedule would dictate the opposite; would you rather spend a Friday Saturday night in the suburbs, or in the city?... and then again, it ll take me an extra 1.5 hours to get to the airport...What do you say?

The city is the center of the nightlife, so I would say spend the friday and saturday in the city, suburbs are boring to visit on a trip anyway except for the botanical gardens and a few malls. So on friday and saturday you should check out museums and clubs, and the other days venture outside of downtown to some real chicago hot dog joints, have fun!
