Clubbing in the DC area LOVE chargin 20 dollar covers. Is this normal, or only after 11? -

I m relativly fresh to the clubbing scene, but like it a lot. However It s effing expensive after 20 dollar covers, and buying drinks. Is this just how DC is? I have had other people say, get on the guest list, and come before 11. Any suggestions? p.s. - I d like to go more, but lately only go with promoter friends, as they hook up free admission, and drinks. I don t want to be a leech though.

This is normal for DC and not-so-normal for LOVE. LOVE usually charges at least $30 to get in. I d suggest showing up before 11 as that may help some (more if you re a lady).Enjoy DC!
