Well that s a hard question... Aspen might be the all time most popular, but it s really just about the name in my opinion. I must admit, I can t tell you as much about that town other than it s pretty extravagant and over-the-top. I think Copper Mountain is my favorite as far as quality of skiing, views, and friendliness of the people goes! They ve got other activities there too. Next on the list is Breckenridge. There are plenty of people who would reccomend Breckenridge over Copper anyday. That one is a town that s worked hard to improve the overall resort-experience (Which sounds like you re into.) Both Breck Copper are pretty close to Vail too. Telluride is also really sweet but pretty far away from Denver and other ski towns so it s probably not worth traveling so far if you have such a limited amount of time.

Ski areas in colorado?????? -
well, seeing as vail is apparently too big to see in just one day, and i only have one extra day to visit a ski area in colorado on my trip this february, what ski area do you think would come after vail, as far as outdoor activities, skiing, views, and just overall popularity of the place. whats the 2nd most popular place to go besides vail?
