How far is Central Park from Radio City Music Hall? How far is it from Penn Station? How much would they...? -

charge for 1 adult an 8 year old child (I don t know if they charge per person). Also, when does the Macy s window go up when are the decorations up at F.A.O. Schwartz? My niece her 8 year old daughter are going to see the Rockettes on the day before Thanksgiving next week, Wednesday, November 25th she s still trying to plan their trip. Also, would anybody know how much a program at Radio City Music Hall would be for the Christmas show? Thanks for all your replies!

I ll just give you an approximate since I m not looking at a map.Penn Station - 34th street and 7th avenueRadio City - 50th street and 6th avenue (Avenue of the Americas)Central Park - starts at 59th street between 5th and 8th avenueSubway is $2.25 per person and child. If your niece is coming around 11/25 then the Macy s window should be up for Thanksgiving, not sure about Christmas. I m not sure about the other stuff...Have fun...and bundle up, it is a little cold this year in NYC.

There s no charge to enter Central Park. Well, they do charge to get into the Zoo, but the park, as a whole, is free, and it s close to both Radio City and Penn Station (see link to map, below).Macy s and FAO Schwarz s Christmas windows go up around Thanksgiving or so, and the souvenir programs for the Rockettes aren t too much, maybe $10 bucks or so?Good luck, and the link below is to a map showing Central Park and Radio City Music Hall and Penn Station...

You can use maps.google.com to find out the distance for these places within New York. Radio City Music Hall is at 50th St and 6th Ave; Central Park starts at 59th St and is between 5th Ave and 8th Ave; Penn Station is at 32nd St and 7th Ave. It might be quite a walk for an 8 year old.Who are they and what are they charging for? Taxi cabs? Buses? Subways? Radio City Music Hall?Taxi rates are $2.50 just to get in the cab, and then $0.40 for every unit, where a unit is defined as 1/5 of a mile when the cab is travelling at 6 mph or more, or 60 seconds when the cab is travelling at less than 12 mph. So a cab ride from Penn Station to Radio City (about a mile and a half, or 7.5 units of 1/5 mile) could be as little as $2.50 + 7.5*$0.40, or $5.50, but it s likely to be more because of traffic.Tickets for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on Wed 25 Nov range from $45 (3rd Mezzanine) to $90 (Premium). There are 4 shows that day: 11 AM, 2 PM, 5 PM, and 8 PM. They are all considered non-peak performances and have the same price ranges. Prices are per seat; there are no reduced prices for children.
