Which hotel casino resort on the Las Vegas strip do you think they should demolish? -

What do you think? Whats your opinion on this?

The casinos that were purchased with the intent of tearing them down were Imperial Palace and Bill s Gaming Hall. The corporation has now decided that IP is much more profitable doing minimal upgrades. Right now, since the companies would rather that the Frontier and Stardust were still intact there doesn t seem to be any obvious candidates.-----Four years ago an almost complete implosion of the north strip was being called for. That is the Frontier, Stardust, Circus Circus, and The Riviera. The Stardust would be kept inact but greatly expanded. Despite some impressive land deals, the entire region is in chaos. Carl Icahn will try and jumpstart the Fountainbleau project, but he might also seal off the building for years before he finishes it off.------With the City Center opening, and the purchase of Planet Hollywood by Harrah s, there is increasing focus on a cross strip along Harmon Avenue. The plan is to connect the two parts of Harmon Avenue over the railroad tracks so that the cross strip goes from The Palms to the Hard Rock casino.

Imperial Palace or Tropicana. Not going to happen for quite some time. It is the lower priced hotels that are doing better than the high priced fancy ones. With every new resort built pushes the other properties further down the list of classy properties. I remember when Excalibur was the best on the strip. Now it is an economy place stay.

I can see them demolishing wild bills, the flamingo, imperial palace and harrah s and putting up another mega resort. Granted this won t happen any time soon but I can see this evetually happening. I also wouldn t be surprise to see circus-circus and slots of fun fall to the way side.

the tropicana should stay there for a long time. i love that place.they should demolish T.I. just for changing it from treasure island.

None at this time due to the economy. It would just leave a hole in the Strip, an eyesore.

Flamingo

city center. just too big and there is no reason to go there.
