Where should I plan a trip? -

In Febraury my boyfriend and I trying to play a trip. I d love to go somewhere where it s cold/snowing because I m born and raised in AZ. He, on the other hand, hates the snow. We re using a timeshare so if it s in the USA it ll be fairly cheap. If you could go anywhere in the US, where would you go?PS we re in our 20 s

Consider South Lake Tahoe. It s a mini-Las Vegas with clean air, scenary, skiing, and no sleeze factor.http://www.bluelaketahoe.com/http://www.harveystahoe.com/casinos/harvhttp://www.harrahslaketahoe.com/casinos/If you get tired of the snow you can drive over to Carson City, Reno, or Virgina City Nevada. The Sunday brunch at Harrah s Forest Buffet is one of the best I ve every been to. It s on the top floor and has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and lake.http://www.harrahslaketahoe.com/casinos/The Vikingsholm Home Castle is an interesting tour.http://www.vikingsholm.com/tours.htmlEhrman Mansionhttp://www.tahoecountry.com/oldtimetahoeHike to Eagle Fallshttp://www.tripwiser.com/trip_thing_to_dHeavenly has a gondola ride.http://www.skiheavenly.com/lake_tahoe/thTake a riverboat cruise and dinner on the lakehttp://www.zephyrcove.com/cruises/index.Sutter s Mill is day trip down U.S. 50. It s also a nice drive along the American River. It passes through Strawberry CA. which has a lodge that was a stagecoach stop.http://www.coloma.com/http://www.strawberrylodge.com/Virginia City is an interesting day trip. Made famous from the TV show Bonanza, it was the center of the Comstock Lode, the biggest silver strike in history. They have an old steam locomotive mining railroad you can ride and you can tour the actual mines. The city looks like it did in the late 1800 s, complete with wooden sidewalks, saloons, gambling halls, and boot hill.http://www.virginiacity-nv.org/info.aspx
