How do I get to white plains, NY from NY penn station? -

Try Metro North from Grand Central station. I m sure theres a White Plains stop on either the Hudson or Harlem line.

Amtrak does not go to White Plains. Therefore you will need to go to Grand Central and take the Metro-North s Harlem Line from there to White Plains. Here s how to get from Penn Station to Grand Central.Step 1: take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines from Penn Station to Times Square.Step 2: at Times Square, transfer to the 42nd Street Shuttle, which will take you from Times Square to Grand Central.Step 3: at Grand Central, exit the subway into the Terminal and take Metro-North Harlem Line to White Plains. The fare on subway is $2.25 each way and and a round trip off peak ticket on Metro-North from the City to White Plains will cost you $7.25.I hope this infomration is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker
