Going to Vegas in January? -

I m a college kid and going to vegas in early January. Is this a bad time to go since all the pools and stuff will be inactive/closed? I figure that during the summer the college crowd would be around the nicer pools, but where would they be right after new years since all that stuff is closed? Will they even be there?

So all you want to do is hang out at a pool? Why in Vegas? How old are you. Less than 21 will not be fun on New Years.

Some of the pools are open year round at certain hotels. This time of the year is not really considered the dead time at Vegas. That would be considered for June-August when it s too hot to do anything outside besides boil in a pool. There should be a decent crowd, especially around New Years, at the local bar and club scenes at various hotel and casinos.
