Nice climate and lorts to do I ve only been to a few parts of Clifornia, San Francisco and Death Valley. I enjoyed both Though, as for beaches, there are plenty in New England that can rival anything in the Golden State (albeit only in the summertime) Visit Coast Guard Beach in MA or Misquamicut in RI, and you ll know what I m talking about
I enjoy CA very much and have visited it often. I enjoy the beaches, many attractions, the weather, the spectacular scenery, and more. Some of my favorite places are Yosemite, Monterey/Pebble Beach/Carmel, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Long Beach, and the PCH. Some particular favorite spots of mine are Carpenteria Beach, just south of Santa Barbara, for its beautiful sunsets. China Beach, in S.F., for one of the best photo opportunites of the Golden Gate Bridge. Lombard St., in S.F., because it s fun driving down the crookedest street in the world. Pebble Beach, being on the 17 mile drive is like being in heaven. Hearst Castle is one of the most spectacular attractions in the state. Not to mention the heavenly drive from Monterey to San Simeon. Yosemite, the waterfalls are all wonderful, so are the mountains, beautiful wildlife, and fresh, clean air. Fortunately, I m headed back to S.F. and Monterey in January for vacation.
