I also am in a similar position. I went to both Phoenix and Tucson for a few weeks over the summer and really liked both places. Really depends on what your looking for Phoenix can get reallly hot (but a dry heat) its more flat and open sprawled, there a great mountains though for hiking and such. Tucson was pretty awsome and tough to beat for me- great mountains, more greenery, good sized city, good city for jobs, lots of things to do outdoors as in all parts of Arizona, wasn t completely desert like in the way Phoenix is more dominated by. Great schools also no matter where you go Tucson- has University of Arizona, and Tempe- near Phoenix has Arizona State University.
hey i just asked the same question for the same reason! its like we re in the same boat :)
