In San Antonio, Fiesta Texas is the big amusement park, Sea World has a couple rides too. It s more, well, aquatic life oriented, hence the name. As far as water parks, yea they have Splash Town, but Schlitterbahn is 10-15 minutes north of town, and it s probably the best water park in the country, according to TLC. But definitely stop downtown. They have the Riverwalk, nice restaurants and bars there, the mall, Alamo, Ripley s. A little something for everyone downtown. This ll be short, Corpus has the beach, and murals of Selena everywhere, especially on the back of trucks. It s nice though, they have good jumbo shrimp, and you can ride paddle boats out on the water. It s cool though.
Depends on what time of year you re coming. If you come in the summer, the waterparks mentioned already would be great. If in the winter, there is still plenty to do. In San Antonio, you can visit Six Flags Over Texas and Seaworld. There s also Wonderworld, Splashtown Water Park, and Ripley s Believe it or Not. The Riverwalk is a great place to shop and eat. Corpus Christi has the beaches, sightseeing cruises, Texas State Aquarium, and horseback riding on the beach.
