Need suggestions on neighborhoods with low crime, racially diverse and are family orientated in/near Denver? -

We are a family looking to move from the Milwaukee, WI area to Denver. Ideally, we would love to find a neighborhood/s that are family orientated, has a very low crime rate and is somewhat racially diverse. We are an African American homeschooling family. Any suggestions?

Suggestions based on your questions criteria: Aurora, east of Denver, very large, mainly lower and upper class on separate sides of town, new and old homes. Lakewood and Wheatridge, west of Denver, mostly middle class. Mostly older homes. ALL cuturally diverse. That being said...You are moving to Colorado. I thought I saw a gang member once, turned out he just had a poor sense of style. Crime is low, so many of us are armed for hunting that the criminals are scared. As far a racism, we are having too much fun outside to worry about the color of your skin. My true recommendation? Hit the mountains, about 20 min west of Denver. Morrison$, Evergreen $$, or Gennesee$$$ Get a taste of the state and then choose where you want to live.
