HELP - Xmas in New York!!? -

Hi guys, please help me..I would like to know, every year in New York, at Rockefeller Center the famous Christmas Tree s lighting up. This year it will light up the 2nd December, isn t it?But, at what time for the FIRST TIME it will be light up??? The exact and precise hour please!For second I d like to know, I read that every year a lot of singers come there and takes place a big concert, but where exactley? At the foot of a tree? Because I saw the video of Beyonce who sang there last year and behind her there isn t the Xmas tree... How long does the concert last?Thank you in advance

That info should be on the Rockefeller Center website. I m guessing it s going to be very difficult to get close enough to see or hear [well, I guess they will probably over-amplify, so you might be able to hear it for blocks!], but if you get there early enough, you might luck out.
