I would say to go see the Rockettes at Radio City. I think that the wax museum is way overpriced and just not that interesting. From Radio City, one block east is the iconic tree. Another block is Sak s Fifth Avenue, famous for it s window dressing, as is Lord Taylor, about a fifteen minute walk downtown from there. Grand Central will have some interesting shops and exhibitions. And all those things after the Rockettes are free. There is also usually a large model train set-up in the Citicorp Building (also free) at 53rd and Lex, three blocks east of Fifth Ave.
I d pick the Rockettes.
