Me and my friend wore them all last winter...ugg s as well..(of course they got ruined). I loved them. But my favorite were my North Face Nuptse Fur boot, very warm and they didn t slip all over the place. It s a nice heavy winter boot, but it still looks girly and feels light and sleek, not all heavy and bulky..good luck finding something, but the Hunters are warm and cute.
Fleece will surprisingly work. On the coldest days I wear fleece socks in the house outside. They can be used with shoes or any boot but they are thicker than most socks. I have not used Hunter socks. I have used them from LL Bean and REI.The photo does not show the tickness of the fleece. There are several types.
