Driving and Drink if having a holiday in the U.S? -

Ok, since im an Australian citizen, and im 18, its legal for me to drive or drink. Im planning a holiday to the U.S next year, what happens then? Am I allowed to hire a rental car or buy alcohol over there or what?

Legal drinking age in the US is 21. You can probably rent a car but you would have to pay alot of extra fees because you are under 25. No, you cannot drink or buy alcohol.
