Hawaii
All I can say is Florida has better malls, like sawgrass outlet mall - http://www.tripcart.com/usa-regions/Sout��And Hawaii has better Pineapple - don t miss the Dole factory tour on Oahu.Anyway - both places are really fun. If your family is interested in nature - Hawaii is probably better. I guess it also depends opn where you llive.
if you ve never been to hawaii i definatly recommend it for vacation in december. i live on oahu. on this island there is alot to do, but its also the most populated. i think its great for family vacations because there is entertainment for all age groups. the only thing is, you have to get outside of waikiki area at least once, the windward side is beautiful, but warm and sometimes rainy. the west side is hot and dry. either way, the beaches are lovely, the shopping is fun, and theres lots to do
I ve never been to florida, but i think Hawaii has more things to do, especially for a family. You can go hiking, camping, swiming, snorkeling.. You can go see the lava flow at night on the Big Island, or see a Green Sand Beach! You could rent a boat and go out on the water for the day.. You guys could learn to surf. There s also lots of good places to eat and shop - especially on Oahu.. Oahu is more touristy, with less out-door stuff to do and more shopping. Maui is beautiful, especially the beaches..Hawaii gets my vote!http://www.magical-hawaii.com/index.html
Florida will be less expensive. Most of the people in the service industry in Florida have come from somewhere else to work there. I guess it depends where you are coming from, if you only have 5 days. The weather may be better in Hawaii at this time.
