What are the rules and regulations while visiting the Jefferson Memorial? -

No food or drink in or around the monument area. No climbing on the monument. No running. Shirt and shoes are mandatory. Please be respectful of other visitors and try to keep your conversations in a low tone so that tour guides may be able to talk to the other groups that may be visiting.

General common sense- no littering, no gum, no climbing, respectful demeanor, no drugs, etc.

unfortunately, NO SILENT RAVES!!!! me and my friends were silently dancing quite peacefully one night, and we got kicked out. otherwise, imean it s kinda obvious. Just don t bother people.

Basically the same rules as any other US National Park. You also can t climb on the statue of Thomas Jefferson. What is it you wanted to do?

What others said. It s free; you can come any time. Just be respectful and act appropriately. A few details at the official site: http://www.nps.gov/thje/planyourvisit/in

Respect no touching just general every day common sense.
