I just turned 21 but my permit will not expire for another 3 months. Will I be allowed to gamble in Vegas? -

I just turned 21 two days ago but I wanted to hold off on renewing my permit because I m afraid it won t get here in time before I leave to Vegas in 2 weeks. Here in MN, it s supposed to take anywhere between 2-3 weeks for you to get your new Permit/License/ID. If my MN Permit still has that UNDER 21 on it even though my birthday says that I m 21, will I be allowed to gamble in Vegas?

All they are interested in is the date of birth. They may look a little more carefully because of that statement but it won t matter once they look at the date. This happens all the time here because thousands of people come here to celebrate their coming of age ... 21. So don t worry. Just come and have a great time.

As long as it has your actual birthday on it you ll be fine. Lots of people come to Vegas to celebrate their 21st birthdays, and many of their permits read that way. They are familiar with it, and it won t be a big deal.

I went to Vegas 2 weeks after my 21st brithday and no one ever asked to see my ID. So maybe I look old, but they didn t even ask for my ID when I ordered a drink while sitting at a slot.

As long as it is your picture with a birthday, and valid, you should be just fine. Security can add and know you are 21. And perhaps they won t even check your ID

Your permit says your age on it (right?). They will accept it.

Call em and find out from a Supervisor.

You will be fine!

They don t care how oldThey care how much money you have.^_^
