Driving from cle OH to jackson MS 16 HOURS BY MYSELF!!!? -

have u ever drivin for a long period of time by ur self how was it any tips or ideas thank you all

The first time I drove a long distance by myself - I set a rule that I had to stop at every other service center. I would get out - park away from the restaurant/truck stopp building - and go in look around the gift shop/convenience are - use the bathroom - get water, coffee pop etc and then go back to the car. When I m in the car - I do some periodic things to change airflow like open each window - one at a time. If I listen to music I try to make sure I m checking in with the local stations so I can know what weather etc is like.Sometimes - put the car in cruise and march with your feet. You can get too relaxed on a long drive so think of things that will allow you to move around some. It was important to take some time to look at something other than the passing countryside - to improve your focus. I still drive long distances - many times by myself and this strategy from 40 years ago has been a good one.

I ve never gone on a road trip by myself, but I might have a few tips...-Make sure you have blankets, flashlights, batteries, first aid kit, charged cell phone, cash, etc. in the car at ALL times. You never know when something might happen to you or the vehicle while driving so its best to stay prepared.-Don t over do it. If you get tired or stressed, find the nearest rest stop/gas station take a short break. -Make sure you never speed! The last thing you want is to be pulled over by a cop. -Just enjoy yourself. Get some music, and enjoy the ride. Driving 16 hours really isn t THAT bad. Good luck and have fun!

Make sure you have a phone charger in your car, and AAA. haha. Bring lots of music to listen to, and just take your time. Rushing will just stress you out. Try to relax and enjoy your time alone. Long car drives can be quite liberating :]Have a safe trip

Get some music or books on tape.

JUST GET SOME PILLS AND DRIVE AND YOU WILL PASS.
