I am considering moving to the Denver area, what the best areas to live? -

I am looking for a safe, family friendly, upscale neighborhood. I am also curious how the people in Colorado are. We are currently in Las Vegas and the people here are horrible. They have no manners and cannot drive if their life depended on it, which it kind of does. I want a place where the people are friendly and if you forget to lock your doors it ll be ok at least for a bit.

Oh jeez, NOT Aurora!!! I would never live there! Up scale - highlands ranch, castle rock, parkernice people - golden, lakewood, arvadasafe - golden, lakewood, castle rock, parker most of the places i listed are all of the above but they are the tops of their ranks...people here are ok drivers UNTIL it snows, then you can tell who has driven in snow and who hasn t.Colorado is a melting pot of people, you get a little bit of everything.

Cherry creek is upscale but parts are oldPARTS of downtown are nicebut you can find nice neighborhoods all aroundjust stay away from east colfax parts of stapletonlowrey is a nice area toohouses are expensive there, i must warn yousorry for the overuse of the word nice but you know...i couldnt *** up with much else to stay

Castle Rock, 30 min. south of Denver. Great family friendly town. We moved here from Jersey 20 years ago, love it here. We have affordable housing and million dollar houses. http://www.townofcastlerock.org

Aurora, but if you are looking to get away from all that Denver is not the place to move.
