Stay in NJ is cheaper than renting a hotel room in NYC. Most hotels in NJ have free parking for you car.In regards to driving into the City, I would highly recommend not to do it, because parking is tough to find and you ll be spending lot of time in traffic than seeing the site. Depending on what hotel you re staying in NJ, you can take the train into NYC.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker
The worst thing you can do is drive and park in the city. You are looking at anywhere from $50-$80 per day to park the car overnight (even at your own hotel). If you are planning on spending your time in NYC then dealing with the schedules of trains and buses to NJ are not worth it. You don t want to cut your night short because you have to catch the last train back.If you check out the flights now from pitts to NY, you might get a decent deal for 2010. $199 round trip is available right now for a trip in May 2010.
if u dont mind to travel to the bronx area of nyc then there is a howard johnson there only thing of that is its close to the subway that is on the outside so its might be a lil noisy and there is a ihop in the mall nearby or like 5-10 min drive and a days inn here with on site parking and bronx is not far from manhattanmanhattan is very expensive and u can forget about decent parkingthough u dont wanna go to far in the bronx the days inn i believe is by webster ave in 165st and thats like 15 min drive to the yankee stadium area just my thought
