Yes, Redmond is very nice. Most people are very friendly, and it is extremely safe, but like any other city, there are occasional crimes, but as crimes , it s more like vandalism and stuff like that. The Redmond schools (Lake Washington school District or LWSD) are excellent, with good test scores, and good teachers. there are many things to do, but obviously not as much as Seattle. There s malls, skate parks, public parks, and movie theaters. It s about 30 minutes away from Seattle, and 10-20 minutes to Bellevue, depending on where you live in Redmond. Bellevue and seattle have more things to do then Redmond, because they are larger cites. Overall, redmond covers all of the criteria that you are looking for. :)
I live in seattle and it s kind of gay (school wise). I m sure Redmond is great. I would imagine Microsoft brings in plenty of money over there.
Seattle is better
