All of these are very nice upscale residences in great neighborhoods. Northside Pkwy and Hammond Dr is what I would consider suburban, not intown living. Anything on Peachtree or Peidmont will be right in town either in Midtown, Buckhead or Downtown. Buckhead is trendy expensive and where all the best shopping is. Midtown is nightlife, culture, eclectic and Downtown is the business district. I would scratch 2115 Piedmont off the list. (too many strip joints in the neighborhood). I won t say living in downtown is unsafe but there are areas of the city that suffer from high crime and they aren t always the low income areas of town. Come for a visit, take your time, look around, explore the neighborhoods and talk to a lot of people before making your decision, welcome to ATL.
The Old 4th Ward area is Midtown in what I would call a transitional neighborhood. In other words, until recently it was low income, industrial and dilapidated. With rising property values the developers have moved in and now it s considered an eclectic, trendy and diverse neighborhood. Report Abuse
