Is JFK airport nearer to Yale University than La Guardia airport? -

Neither airport is particularly close to Yale University, but distance wise as the crow flies, LGA is closer. Have you taken a look at flying into New Haven itself or into Hartford? Both of those airports are in CT, and are much closer than the NYC airports. Even White Plains is closer to New Haven then LGA or JFK.

Neither is particularly close. Either one would require you to get to Manhattan to connect to the train for New Haven.You could probably get there from LaG a little quicker, but it is close. I think that the ride is easier from JFK, alsoo.
