The clip that starts at 2:43 is the southern end of Liberty State Park, which is located in Jersey City, NJ. This nowhere near the Hudson River. The white stone building in the background is the New York Historical Society, which is a museum dedicated to the history of the City of New York. There is no walkway across the Hudson. (Someone mentioned the George Washington Bridge. Well, yes, there is a pedestrian walkway on that Bridge, but the footage in this clip ain t that!)The picture is an optical illusion. It is shot on a pier that sticks out into the water. This pier is a stretch of Hudson River Park, a greenway that hugs the Hudson River.
Well, that gorgeous walkway doesn t go over the Hudson River, it goes alongside it in Liberty State Park, which is in New Jersey, as a matter of fact.Follow the link below to see a map of the park and the walkway is the part along the water s edge there, and the Statue Of Liberty stands on the little island right nearby labelled Liberty Island and the part with all the American flags is in that park, too...
The bridge in the video is not in New York City. That s Jersey City, New Jersey; Liberty State Park on the other side of the harbor from the city. that s also not across the hudson. the hudson has already ended at that point, emptying into Upper New York Bay. the bridge crosses a cove to what was once Black Tom s Island.
