Texans i need your help!? -

the wife and i want to move to texas, but we have no clue as to what areas are better than others. We both work for national chains and can transfer pretty much anywhere in texas.. so any suggestions? we are looking for somewhere not ghetto and just regular middle class america to start a family

Suburban Dallas might be a match for you. There are nice middle class communities throughout the area, not just in the suburbs north of the city.

There is every possible chain store in the Fort Worth, Arlington, Dallas area. You can read their papers on line for more info. Another area is Hurst, Bedford Euless,( East of Fort Worth, West of Arlington.) These suburbs known as HEB. All these run togeather. There is some undevoloped areas before Dallas after Fort Worth on I30 but filling up more every year. I would suggest suburbs and not inside city area. I have good friends that live in area near Austin called Cedar Park. Another suggestion is look up the Chamber of Commerence for more info on your final decisions.

Hi..I d love to help you if I could. I am a life-long Texan. I live in Longview in Eastern Texas off I-20 near Shreveport La. I have also lived on the gulf coast region, so basically I know my way around. You don t mention any details of why types of cities you like or more rural. Longview is considered to be economically stable and doing well. Come see what we can off you. Fee free to email and talk. I can hook you up with info about different areas of texas...email me.

I live in The Woodlands Tx. It is a great area and it is growing rapidly. It is like living in a mini city because we have all of the nice restraunts and a mall but there are a lot of affordable houses in the area. Great school systems and tons of hike and bike trails. If you are curious just look online. The Woodlands has a website. It is about 30 min. north of down town Houston.

The area north of Dallas looks pretty good. McKinney et al.

Why Texas? Move to California man. The best little country in the world.

HOUSTON!!!

What your looking for is San Antonio,I live here and its the Bees Kneesplus we have a sweet night life

try Arlington or Quinlin

Anywhere north of Dallas, or Longview in east Texas, or Nacogdoches. Lubbock is not near as big as Dallas but is big enough to have opportunities and bigger than Longview or Nacogdoches. Greenville is a smaller town that is nice on I-30.
